These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all accommodation bookings and guest stays at Kurrajong Hotel Erskineville (“the Hotel”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By confirming a reservation, the guest (“you”, “your”) acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

All rates and transactions are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

2. Booking Policy

  • A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

  • Guests must be 18 years or older to book or check in.

  • The person booking is responsible for all charges relating to the reservation, including damages or incidentals.

  • A confirmation email will be sent automatically via our booking system once the reservation is processed.

3. Check-in and Check-out

  • Check-in: From 2:00 PM

  • Check-out: By 10:00 AM

  • Early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

  • A valid government-issued photo ID and credit card must be presented upon check-in.

4. Payment Policy

  • Full payment is generally required at the time of booking unless stated otherwise in your rate plan.

  • For flexible rate bookings, full payment is due upon check-in.

  • The Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise or charge your card prior to arrival.

  • All additional costs incurred during your stay (minibar, restaurant, etc.) must be settled upon check-out.

5. Cancellation and No-show Policy

  • Flexible Rate: Free cancellation up to 48 hours prior to arrival.

  • Non-Refundable Rate: 100% of the total stay will be charged at the time of booking and is non-refundable.

  • No-Show: Failure to arrive without prior notice will incur a charge equal to the first night’s rate (or the full booking amount for non-refundable bookings).

6. Group Bookings and Long Stays

Bookings of 5 rooms or more, or stays exceeding 7 nights, may be subject to additional terms, including deposit requirements and specific cancellation conditions. Please contact the Hotel directly to confirm group policies.

7. Guest Behaviour and Conduct

  • The Hotel reserves the right to refuse entry or service to any guest displaying disruptive, abusive, or unsafe behaviour.

  • Noise levels must be kept to a minimum after 10:00 PM in respect of other guests and local residents.

  • Guests are responsible for the conduct of their visitors and may be charged for any disturbances or damages caused.

8. Damages, Loss, and Liability

  • Guests are liable for any loss or damage caused to Hotel property during their stay.

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited inside rooms and hotel buildings. A $300 cleaning fee will apply if evidence of smoking is found.

  • The Hotel does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings or vehicles.

  • Unclaimed lost property will be held for 30 days before disposal.

9. Force Majeure

The Hotel shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or cancellation resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or technical failures.

10. COVID-19 and Health Safety

Guests must comply with current NSW Public Health Orders and any Hotel-specific health and safety protocols in place at the time of their stay. Refusal to comply may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.

11. Third-Party Bookings

If your booking is made through an online travel agent (e.g., Booking.com, Expedia), their terms and conditions may also apply. In the event of conflict, the Hotel’s Terms take precedence for all in-house matters.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
